Program provides additional relief funds to independent creatives and cosmetology professionals

The Resurgence Grant Fund supports economic growth and recovery by providing grants to qualifying city of Atlanta businesses to help them cover pandemic-related costs such as complying with requirements necessary for businesses to operate safely.

The Resurgence Grant Fund is made possible by the $88 million federal Coronavirus Aid, 救援, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) funding to the 亚特兰大市, of which $22 million was allocated to support small businesses and independent professionals impacted by the pandemic. A portion of the $22 million allocation is being used to recapitalize the City’s ATLStrong creATL and Strength in Beauty recovery funds to continue supporting Atlanta’s independent creatives and cosmetology industries.
